A Historic Fountain Square Wedding | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer | Salvador & LaurieAnne

Saturday was one of those rare fall days here in Indiana where the sun is shining, the temperature is just right, and the sky is blue as can be. It was the absolute perfect day for Salvador & LaurieAnne to start their lives together!

When I say LaurieAnne is the hostess with the mostest, I am not exaggerating in the slightest. It can be difficult to keep a large guest count entertained, but she truly thought of everything and the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Our day started in the hotel suite with putting the finishing touches on. The entire group was laughing and having a wonderful time.

LaurieAnne & Salvador chose to enter the holy sacrament of marriage at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Indianapolis. These two have a strong faith and the cathedral was the perfect place to join their lives together.

First things first, we shared a special first look with dad. Seeing his daughter so stunning seemed to take his words away.

Then it was time for that so special first look. I am so happy they chose to share the moment at the alter.

And then it was time! The church filled with their friends and family who traveled from far and wide to join them. The joy was in the air as we all smiled, laughed, and enjoyed the music played by their dear friends.

Remember that hostess with the mostest line? They are officially married!! We spent a little time in front of the church as the Trolley they hired ran guests from the church to the Fountain Square area.

I enjoyed getting to know their amazing bridal party. This group was a blast to spend our afternoon with.

These two technically met in middle school band, but didn't become friends until high school. They were both big into marching band, and their friend groups kind of grew together in LaurieAnne's senior year of high school. They became best friends, and then started dating.

The relationship was completely conditional- LaurieAnne said that they "had" to stop dating once she went to school since she would be going to college in NY. Salvador did his best to try to convince her otherwise, and it turned out he was right all along.

They made distance work for 5 years while they both completed undergrad and LaurieAnne completed her MBA. Salvador planned a surprise trip out to NY and proposed under the muse of a photoshoot with LaurieAnne's best friend and favorite professor. The shoot was happening in the St. Bonaventure outdoor grotto, and when she turned around Salvador was on one knee. Since it was a "photoshoot" we got some great pics of the moment. Salvador said LaurieAnne is not easy to surprise, so this was quite a feat.

All aboard the trolley! It was time for us to head to Fountain Square Theater to celebrate this amazing day!

The stage was set for an incredible evening, and the crowning touches they chose for their reception were perfect.

They entered their reception on cloud 9 to get the party started!

The dinner was spectacular, the speeches were emotional, and we had just a few minutes to capture a few more photos in front of the marquis and on the rooftop deck.

The formalities were finished and the late night snacks served. The guests thought the evening was coming to a close when we gathered them for one big group shot... but the surprise as on them!

When the crowd turned, U2 was there to surprise them! OK so it was a cover band, but they were absolutely amazing and we had such a great time. This was one heck of a way to finish out such an incredible day.
