Leave it all to the moms! No, seriously, moms know best as was the case for Morgan & Devin. Morgan didn’t realize it but on a mission trip her mother and Devin’s mother were plotting to set the two up. Morgan had a Facebook message awaiting her upon her return from Devin insisting he wasn’t a “creeper”. They went out, and 17 days later they officially began dating. The rest is history!
Before we departed for the church, Devin and Morgan shared a gift exchange. Morgan received a VCR to binge on Disney movies, and Devin received a scratch off map so they could document their travels together. Such thoughtful gifts!
Devin & Morgan tied the knot at their church in a very special and intimate ceremony that brought tears to our eyes!
We departed for the reception venue, and had a gorgeous sunny afternoon for portraits.
When I asked Morgan what her favorite thing about Devin is, she replied “He is my best friend and extremely patient (even when I don't deserve it). He calms me more than anyone else. It only takes a good hug from him to completely turn my day around.”
When I asked Devin the same, his response was “I love her smile and laugh. She is extremely loving and always encourages and pushes me to be my best.”
In we went to the gorgeous venue to enjoy dinner, speeches, and my favorite... CAKE!
When the formalities were over, the groom's mother surprised us with a flash-mob and the dancing just kept going from there!
Its so hard to say goodbye, but the time has come! We look forward to seeing your lives grow with love.
